Fab hotel with excellent food and very high quality service. Always willing to accommodate extra requests such as gluten and dairy free. Staff and management are always very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and plenty parking right outside the door.

We've stayed at Carnegie Lodge before, and would happily do so again. The restaurant and rooms are decorated to a high standard, the food is superb and the welcome faultless. The only problem was some water damage to the wall in our bathroom and a hole in the stud wall separating our room from the next; when reported to affable...

Stayed here on business many times and this visit is as good as ever. Even though the owners are away the standards are just as high. A warm welcome when you arrive and the food is absolutely delicious

We only ate here but if the rooms are as clean as the restaurant then you have nothing to worry about. Very extensive menu, lots of options the steak garni was cooked perfectly, staff very friendly good value for money.

Good hotel run by very friendly people. The room was warm and spacious, and we both slept very well as it is a quiet location. The food - both evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Even though it is located slightly out of the town, locals seemed to make the effort to go for a meal, which is very confidence-inspiring....

I had a 3 course lunch at this hotel recently. The food was good - deep fried prawns, seafood tagliatelle & chocolate mouse. The service was very good and the atmospere was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for food & I'm really picky!

Large group of us stated recently and although quite a basic hotel, it was very clean and the staff were excellent. The food in the evening was really good and plenty of it too. Desserts were fab and you could see them before choosing from the trolley. Very good all round and highly recommend. A good little bar too.
