On our way to the highlands we needed a place to stay for one night only. We were recommended Ross Villa by a guesthouse that was already fully booked. A great choice I must say! Immaculate room and ensuite with view of the driveway and front garden. And an even better view from the rear overlooking the water. A good...

Stayed in many B&Bs around the world, Ross Villa tops all others and definitely value for money! We were late for check in and arrived at 6pm but were welcomed and checked-in without hassle. Ian & Ray who runs the B&B were great company and we appreciate the warm hospitality during our short stay. Our room was like a luxury...

The accommodations were excellent as was the hospitality of our hosts Ray and Ian. Ray prepared a delicious Scottish breakfast and Ian served providing more than we could eat. The home is well maintained and bathroom looked like new. Downtown Tain is within easy walking distance and it is only a short drive to Tain Golf course, another excellent reason...

This was definately the best of the four places that we stayed on our trip to Scotland and the Orkneys. Unbelievably, it was also the cheapest! We couldn't fault the welcome, the accommodation or the breakfast. Thankyou, Ray and Ian.

Fantastic value for money compared to some large chain hotels! Spacious room with large en suite, comfortable chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, tv and comfortable bed. Our hosts, Ray and Ian were very welcoming and friendly. The house and large garden were immaculate and there were beautiful views looking over farmland and the sea.

Stayed at Ross Villa for one night during our motorbike tour of Scotland, to say that this Bed and Breakfast was the simply best is no understatement. This was an excellent place to stop. Very well appointed and exceptionally clean. The rooms were very comfortable. The shower is legendary, warm and powerful which is quite a novelty for a B&B I have found! Tain has limited restaurants but what there is a sufficient. Ross Villa is tucked away off the main road so it is very quiet...
