We stayed in this hotel over 25 years ago, and I have always wanted to return. I was fortunate enough to get back here this month. With over 360 varieties of scotch, the bar was most impressive to view....and pause for a tasting! We began...More

Dear all, we serve some of our beers with TP (top pressure) supplied by 6 Scottish breweries that we use regularly. This allows us to have a wide selection of beers at all times including the festival in October. It does allow us to keep the beer longer in quieter times. The quality of the beer has never changed and as for the taste....CAMRA inspected us 2 years running and raved about the beer, before they found we used TP. They even awarded us regional pub of the year. Our customers are most important to us and we have no complaints from them. We respect their rules on real ale and accept we are no longer part of GBG. We do however offer a good selection of scottish beers!
