Hello, I am doing some family history and wonder if there is a town or village called Sandhill nearby. My 5th grandmother was from Ayrshire. Her name was Jane Smythe. She married a soldier who fought in the American Revolution. I am sure I would enjoy staying with you if we get the chance. My daughter lives in London. Thank you,

Sorry we were just visiting and as far as we know there is no place called Sandhill in Ayrshire.
Perhaps you should email the owners of Sandhill House directly..
