Room was warm and quiet - slept really well. The food (breakfast and dinner) was very tasty and couldn't be faulted. Very helpful staff and a surprisingly well equipped gym at the back of the hotel (glad I brought gym kit). Great place to chat after a busy day with a good selection of drinks. I will be definitely staying...

Room I stayed in was nice and cozy. Shower was great. The food however was worth the trip in itself. Mussels, roast beef with ox cheek dauphinoise potatoes followed by caramel apple bread and butter pudding. It was a fantastic meal!!

This fantastic venue was excellent as we had our wedding here on the 18th September 2015. We had a total of 120 guests but the limit was 150. Debbie and her staff were fantastic from day one and they did everything we asked to make our day special. The food was amazing and as i was on the top table...

Stayed at the hotel in late January. Arrived on Saturday evening on the ferry from Ullerpool at 9.15. Managed to get soup and a sandwich in the lounge area which was ok. Breakfast was ok and plenty of it. Had lounge menu on Sunday evening which was ok. Monday evening we ate in the restaurant which was again ok. As...

My brothers and I were visiting Lewis together for the first time in over 30 years. The Caberfeidh was our first choice (from price and recommendations and facilities). We had a comfortable and welcoming 2 night stay. Do not judge this hotel by its cover - it had everything we needed and wanted. the service, food and bar were of...

Stayed over the weekend to visit: rooms are ok basic and clean, bathroom needs a bit of refurbishment to replace creaky baths with a proper shower then you would have room for the sink :) just had breakfast there, good buffet style with normal cooked options but they do overcook the breakfast seems to be a Highland thing :)

I was up in Stornoway on business and stayed at the Cabarfeidh. My room was very comfortable although it had two single beds and I would have preferred a double. The staff were excellent - especially the night staff. The omelette cooked to order at breakfast was first class. However, each morning, the toast was dreadful; cold and soggy. I...

Spent 2 nights here on business and comparing this hotel to my last one in Stornoway was a lot better. Checked in and given room 12 which was of decent size and looked comfortable enough with tea/coffee making etc available and replenished each day.An ironing board was available in the room as well. Room had little view to speak of...

Everything you could want for a short stay on business in the Western Isles. Cheery and helpful staff, comfortable room, reliable wi-fi and, leaving the best to last, some tasty grub. A comprehensive breakfast menu was surpassed by the freshness of the produce - most of it locally sourced - on the dinner menu, rounded off by a cheeky wee...

I went here recently for a leaving party. The staff were very nice and helpful. Although I wasn't keen on the soup of rather day I must say the trio of chocolate puds was to die for. I would go back just for the pudding.
