We stayed in a room overlooking the stone pier with a wonderful view across the bay. And that, unfortunately was the best part of this hotel.
Our room was an adequate size with a small bathroom (to which you had to leave the door close...More
Upon arriving at the hotel, I have to say I wasn't really impressed. It looks very tired and could do with a complete makeover. Inside was something completely different. The decor was tasteful and the accommodation was better than what we expected. Breakfast and meals...More
The hotel staff were very helpful. We had a room off road side, the room was clean and comfortable too. Bath room was a good size with a new shower. The walls were thin and you could hear other people talking in the other rooms.
The rooms in this hotel are very small. But like other small room hotels they want to persist in trying to fit as much furniture into the moot as possible leaving little space for the occupant or their bags.

Don't know. To be honest, I was too scared to look in the drawers & cupboards for fear of what I might find in them. Question asked and answered by several others in a different thread. Some said yes, most said no but that you could get one from Reception. One said Reception didn't have any when they asked. One said the one Reception gave them worked for about 2 mins then conked out. Another said they also got one from Reception but the socket they plugged it into didn't work. Sounds pretty typical for this hotel!

Scottyted, There is no lift and the dining area had a srairway! If you are on the Bay side of the hotel I would get room service as the dining room was packed and breakfast was a buffet! It may be more difficult for you to get around! Good luck! Skye is a beautiful island and go to Ragmuffin at the ferry it is a really cool store and is accessible and there are other shops as well!
