We stayed for two nights at Duisdale House. It was extremely comfortable in all respects and the food and service were first class. We also enjoyed a day's sailing with the owners, Ken and Anne, on their 50' yacht. They were wonderful hosts and this was really the icing on the cake to make for a terrific short break.

We visited the hotel for afternoon tea which was served in the conservatory with views of the gardens. The tea itself consisted of a selection of sandwiches, canapes, cakes and scones, washed down with as much tea or coffee as we could drink. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent.

Hotel is in a nice setting. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were extremely small, absolutely nowhere to put the cases. Couldn't use the suitcase rest as there was no room to walk around once it was folded out. We had to climb over the suitcases to get to the bathroom. Apparently, this was a boutique room, I think that...

Duisdale is a terrific hotel with good service, rooms, and food. Recommend rooms 11 and 12 as they are on the tope floor and have amazing views of the loch. We stayed in 12. While it is a tad small, you can't beat waking up and going to sleep with a great view from your bed. The food was also...

After a long train trip, we were delighted to be greeted by such a warm welcome at Duisdale. David and Morag made us feel right at home (if our home had been in the beautiful Scottish Highlands with a dream chef). Dinners and breakfast were divine with ready explanations of the food. The dining room is intimate (4-5 tables) which...

My husband and I just returned from a 6-night stay at this hotel, and the service was awesome! We felt so welcome and taken care of the entire time we were with them. The owners have a yacht and they take guests sailing with them; be sure to make reservations to do this if you stay at this hotel. It...

Fantastic welcome from Matt at the hotel. Stayed on the free mooring in our yacht Pheonix, so thanks to the hotel for that. It was only a short walk to the hotel from the shore. As we arrived very late, we missed dinner, but Matt was happy to provide a few beers and snacks for us. We'll be back and...

Just returned from an overnight trip to Skye were we stayed at the beautiful Duisdale Hotel. From our arrival to our departure the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel is beautifully situated in immaculate grounds with the most stunning views from every front facing or side facing window. Our bedroom was very tastefully decorated,in fact...

What a joke for that kind of money the room was tiny and so hot!!!!! Definitely would not recommend this to anyone. .... The room was the size of a toilet cubicle... to put it into perspective we had to leave one suit case in the car because we couldn't fit it in the room....

This hotel is clean and the staff were friendly, but is was not worth the money that we paid. We had deliberately requested a superior room with a walk in shower.what we got was a shower cubicle that was ridiculously small. You would be lucky to be able to bend down if you dropped the soap. The room was also...
