We stayed for two nights and it was wonderful! Cosy room with bay view, the best equipped shower we ever discoverd in a B&B, an outstanding breakfast with a thoroughly introduction by Jeff who has also a profound knowledge of the area and gives great advises for day trips and walks (have a look at the nearby waterfall and don't...

We stayed here for just one night, but definetly recommend this B&B. Although its on the main road northwards, there is little traffic, so its very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. The room looked over the Loch, had a reallly comfortable bed, great shower and as much breakfast as you can eat, including their own fresh home...

Although my husband and I do not usually stay in B&Bs, we booked Laurel Bank for our overnight (June 4) on the Isle of Skye because it was close to a walk we had planned for the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. B. were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the comfortable, immaculate room with a view was also welcoming....

We stayed here for just one night on a recent mother-daughter tour of the Highlands and found it a small, beautifully-run B&B with a genuine feeling of "home". Hosts Joan & Jeff made us feel exceedingly welcome & we were captivated by our charming sea-view room. Everything was exceptionally clean & comfortable & the bathroom had a very good shower....

This was a very nice b&b. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfasts were great with extra special foods for us to try. The hosts were very friendly and were so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Small, beautifully run B&B home on the shore of Loch Dunvegan. We chose at random for convenience for the ferry to Harris and had no idea what to expect. Carefully detailed instructions took us straight there to a warm welcome from delightful couple, Joan and Jeff. Our room, overlooking The Loch was ultra comfortable. Everything was thought of, right down...

My wife and I stayed for one night in early September after having arrived by ferry from North Uist. The B&B is located a short taxi ride uphill from the ferry terminal. There is a scenic view of Loch Dunvegan from the front of this guest house. We were warmly greeted by our hosts. Joan Ballans went out of her...

Joan and Jeff are perfect hosts. Everything was just right. The breakfast Cranachan was delicious. We had a long chat with Jeff who was full of useful information about the local area and its history. We fully intend to visit again and stay longer !

We chose this excellent B & B on our daughter's recommendation and were not diaappointed. Uig was chosen due to the ferry route to Harris which we used three days later. Uig is excellently situated for exploring the north of Skye and further afield, Joan's breakfasts have to be seen (and eaten) to be believed. Twelve out of 10 for...

Really comfortable room with good quality extras - fresh milk for our tea, and lovely toiletries - all these things make such a difference. We only stayed 1 night before catching the ferry to Harris, but would definitely return if visiting Skye again. Excellent breakfast - lovely Scottish cheese and oak cakes - and wonderful home made bread, the smell...
