Very friendly and helpful to wet cyclists. Staff volunteered a drying room for our kit and a shed for our bikes. Lunch was awesome particularly the curry. So much do we had it again for dinner. Bar and lounge were comfortable and relaxed. The waitress even found us a monopoly set to play with the kids.

The rooms themselves are fairly minimalist in nature and - at least the room I had - not particularly fancy. That being said the hotel has a delightful charm coupled with a truly friendly and helpful staff. In need of a whisky recommendation? One of the staff was able to talk quite helpfully about the distilleries and the flavors. Directions?...

Have just returned from 6 days here. Possibly the best holiday ever! The hotel is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are without exception delightful and the food was amazing. We will certainly return to this magical island. Thank you everyone.

Great hotel within walking distance of the ferry port . Just a little away fro the main town activity . Well appointed and quiet rooms . Everything one would hope for . Limited but excellent menu in the restaurant . Good service . Limited views from the windows because of its sheltered location . No hesitation in staying there again

Convenient for the ferry, this old fashioned hotel was friendly (for the islands), spotlessly clean, and good value (for the islands). Our room (2) was modern is style, and had a separate seating area. Breakfasts were traditional, but good. The best feature of the hotel is probably its bar, again old fashioned, but just right for the type of hotel...

We dropped in late one winter Friday afternoon, planning to spend three nights in Tarbert but only asked for a room for one as we like to keep our options open in case of uncomfortable beds or noisy neighbours. However, we liked it so much that we went to book our next two nights at breakfast the next morning, only...

I've been coming here for many years, previously venturing no further than the beautiful bar and excellent restaurant. My partner and I decided to stay overnight after a function, earlier this month; and found that the standard of accommodation absolutely complemented the general excellence of this lovely, family run, hotel. Prior to the (function) meal, I had made enquiries as...

I stayed here for one night this week and am glad I did. Staff were great, food was absolutely wonderful, food in the Islands is of a high standard anyway but this was the best I've tasted in a long time. Don't know what the other rooms are like but room 9 was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. This is...
