Stayed for 1 night, staff always polite, restaurant had excellent food. Only issue was the room started creaking when there was high wind so could not sleep after 430 am... would go again, would be pickier as to where room is located if possible.

booked two rooms for new years eve. Staff on the check in desk seemed like they had no idea what was going on. Given it was a busy day, there is no need for cheek and rude remarks. Took 10 minutes to find my bookings to them be presented with someone else's paperwork. Hotel itself is old and outdated however...

We stayed over christmas to visit a family living in Livingston. The facilities were not great. Swimming pool was too small. Restaurant menu wasn't diverse enough for common dietary requirements (gluten, lactose). Breakfast choice was limited, very basic for the price and we had to wait for the staff to shop for soya milk. When restaurant had a party and...

We stayed as a couple December 2016 for a Christmas shopping trip. The hotel was easy to find and looked ok on arrival. We stood at reception for a good few minutes before getting taken on by any staff. When we got to our room there was a horrible smell in the bathroom and the room was roasting hot. We...

I read the reviews here and though it was just people being picky. How wrong was I. I really can't believe just how bad this place was. Front reception is OK but then it's massively down hill from then on. I booked thos place months for a Xmas treat. The place is easy to find and with a total refund...

My boyfriend and I purchased an itison voucher which included one night bed and breakfast and a bottle of wine. The room was lovely and clean (the bed was huge!), the breakfast was nice and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. The bottle of wine appeared at our door within minutes of checking in. The pool area was...

Location wise the hotel is in a good place, near main roads and so on. The menu has around 3 to 4 meals on, 2 are curries, so not great variety if you stay for more than a night. I got a burger which was ok but not great quality. The hotel has a pool and gym, but these are...

Enjoyed a family Christmas Day lunch for my wife and I, daughter and two grandchildren (4 and11) good menu with plenty of choices: turkey and steak was what we had along with starter, desert, cheese board, mince pies snd tea/coffees. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Plenty of staff to ensure the meal was served well - more than pleasantly surprised as we...

We stayed here due to business for my husband, it is in a great location, with plenty of parking. My husband had stayed here before, telling me it's not posh, but functional. That's exactly how I would describe it. You,could walk over to the shopping centre, we didn't due to the weather being torrential rain. Check in was quick &...
