My parents stayed here a few years ago and after my mum passed away this year my Dad wanted to come back, probably for the last time. When we arrived, Angela recognised Dad straight away, which really made him feel welcome and at home! David and Angela's hospitality is exemplary, accommodation is very comfortable and breakfasts are just right, whether... More

Had a great weekend away in Braemar for my mums 70th birthday. We were greeted on arrival with homemade cake and tea/coffee. The breakfast was lovely. Our room was very nice and spacious (room 2). The owners and their family were very friendly. They even let us eat our chippy in the dining room one night as we were being... More

We stayed at Craiglea B&B on our way up to tour the scottish highlands. The B&B was very easy to find and there is ample off road parking. When we arrived we were greeted by Angela who checked us in and showed us to our room. As we were on our motorcycle we arrived a little wet, courtesy of the... More

This is a very friendly and clean bed and breakfast, the owners are excellent hosts. We stopped here and visited Balmoral. Highly recommended, there are plenty of places to eat, its also near the ski sites if that's what your interest is

Dave and Angela really make this place special with a warm welcome, great stories and great tips. The room was on the small side and was a little noisy early in the evening being on the street but very quiet by sleeping time. Beds very comfortable and lovely breakfasts. A great location being right near the town of Braemar but... More

Unfortunately, even though we booked 5 months ago and was on our honeymoon, we were shown to Room 5 which is absolutely too small and should only be used as a single room. No room to move at all. The shower room was so small you could not stand outside the shower to dry yourself or use the tiny basin.... More

Thank you for your comment in relation to your stay in room 5. We are well aware that both room 5 & room 6 are small rooms and therefore we offer them at considerably less than the larger rooms. We have been advised by VisitScotland that they do meet their requirements, however we are in the process of planning to... More

The Craiglea was a lucky find. I hadn't read any reviews, just 'lucked' it. My sister and I had the most spacious, spotless room. A very pretty outlook over a quiet part of town, off the main road. The hosts were so kind and they work seamlessly as a team. The breakfasts were to die for and enormous. Off street... More
