This has got to be the worse place I have stayed. Asked to pay before given room. The room which I was informed was up the stair after I asked for directions. The room was small, ensuite was mould ridden the bed side lamp had a tiny red bulb and was no more than a night light. I expect more...

I am sorry to hear your stay with us was not pleasant. The continental breakfast is an extra which we do not charge for and as for the mould, rest assured we will look into this. Thanks for staying with us, we appreciate your feedback.

Upon arrival a month ago, I was asked to pay my bill for 3 nights in full on my Visacard! I said "sorry, but I havent even seen the room yet, and it's normal practice when staying in a Hotel to pay before you leave!" He then took me up to the room of which was pretty standard, and nothing...

The whole place was smelly, there were no curtains in my room , just an ill fitting blind. The shower enclosure was both rusty and mouldy. The bedside light didn't work. I was offered breakfast but decided not to make my chances based on the cleanliness elsewhere in the building. I wouldn't even given this place a 1!

From the very poor reception to the inadequate room and help yourself breakfast this hotel was inadequate in every respect. It would have been overpriced at a quarter of the cost for a room, regardless of "oil week". The radiator could not be switched off, the window could only be opened standing on the flimsy desk chair! All the surfaces...
