Exhausted and feeing like a contortionist after 8 hours driving, we were given a warm welcome and shown to a clean and comfortable room. The water was hot and the beds were just right. Hamish advised us where to go and eat and ensured that we were to treat the house like home as he handed us the front door...

I have read all the reviews. My experience based on visits in each of the last three years is that this is an excellent place to stay for business or pleasure. It was recommended to me by my partner who based his opinion on three earlier visits. I do not recognise the grumbles mentioned in the negative reviews. I agree...

A lovely property, a great breakfast, comfortable room, decor in keeping with the property, very clean and tidy. The hosts were fantastic and most helpful and very friendly. We do not think it was overpriced, but reflective of the great hosts, property and location. We would highly recommend this B&B and hope to return in the future

We stayed here one night recently. It was very nice, spotless and comfortable. The food was fresh and well presented. The rooms were a bit cold in the eveing and could have done with some heating. We thought the charge for B&B was a little high but would recommend on all the other points.

This was a nice B&B set in lovely settings. We booked a room which over looked Loch Fyne. The views were beautiful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the owners were very friendly. My only slight criticism was that it was overpriced for a B&B. Our window didn't stay open unless we wedged it with a bin, the shower had...

Just back from a four night stay at Alt-na-Craig in the family room which overlooks Loch Fyne and the formal part of the garden at the side of the house - a lovely place to sit in more clement weather. We loved the enormous bath, particularly soothing after epic cycle rides and off path geology walks and found the spaciousness...

The house is lovely, the service very welcoming, the food brilliant and the beds comfortable. However having stayed in quite a few B&B's over our two week tour of the islands I think alt na craig was a little over priced (£200ish for 2 GT's, dinner with a bottle of wine, bed and breakfast for two people). We decided to...

This is my second visit to Altn-Na-Craig the first being 3 years ago. I was just as well looked after as last time. Breakfast was very filling excellently cooked which kept me going all day. Both Charlotte and Hamish were very friendly and very informative. We stopped in the coach house which allowed us to come and go without disturbing...

My friend and I were looking for an overnight stop on our way back to the South of England from a weeks self catering in the Hebrides and decided to detour into Argyll with a view to seeking to return for a longer visit on another occasion. The house is very Victorian and Hamish and Charlotte have decorated and furnished...

Returned to Allt-Na-Craig two years after our last visit. The views across the loch are truly stunning, helped by a wonderful sunny day. They've redecorated the rooms since we were last here so the standard was even higher, fabulous evening meal and a great breakfast - not sure I'll ever eat again! Highly recommended!
