Our room was one the detached annex rooms. Well laid out, walk in shower, a very comfortable king size bed, heaps of hanging space and storage, a balcony with a view to die for. All facilities were there, cleanliness was perfect the heating was easy to adjust. Parking was t the door. The room was beautiful. Breakfast was superb. Cairndow... More

One night stopover on the way to the West Coast and we needed a room for 3 plus our 2 dogs. This place was brilliant, so dog friendly they got a welcome doggy bag. Location right on the loch, so much so that the car nearly rolled in as I left the handbrake off. We enjoyed a lovely walk in... More

We stayed in a deluxe room including spa bath for two, which was lovely. The decor was understated and tranquil and the staff were helpful and friendly - they even gave us a doggy bag including a toy, treats and details of local walks, and they provided extra sausages at breakfast for her. Overall, this was a lovely hotel in... More

I was staying in room 8 which was in quite an antiquated part of the hotel but the room was quite comfortable even if the decor was a bit dated. I got the impression that other areas were much more modern. My bathroom was modern. For dinner my starter of scallops and creamed leaks with pancetta was very nice if... More

Stayed for a couple of nights. Room was very spacious looking out across the loch and very comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant and bar and both meals were very good. Staff very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this as a base for exploring this part of Argyll.

Excellent room with lochside view ,food in restaurant excellent with very friendly staff. My parents had a rear room with walk in shower .being elderly my mother thought a handrail in the shower and on the steps down to the bathroom would have been helpful. Apart from that an excellent week end with thankfully blue skies and sunshine.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a romantic break in the west coast and this hit the spot! Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by staff and handed the keys to our room along with menu's for dinner promptly. The hotel was well placed for us as we wanted a stopover after two weeks on the Isle of Islay before heading for Teesside. The setting at the top end of Loch Fyne is pretty but it's shame that one cannot see much of this from inside. The hotel is much larger than the website photograph suggests and it is... More
