We stayed for 2 nights at the end of August 2013. Despite the B&B being full, there was a warm and friendly welcome. The room we stayed in wasn't large, with a tiny bathroom, but it had a nice view across the loch. The main lounge is lovely. Large and spacious: a relaxing place to make use of the wine...

I can honestly say that I will not stay in a better B+B where the the owners go more than out of there way to look after your every need. The house is perfect, the location is perfect, the breakfasts were perfect, I cannot praise Jennifer and Alastair highly enough. I stayed with my wife and in laws for three...

My family & l stayed loved our stay here. The owners were friendly & welcoming. The house is perfectly situated with great views over the loch to Inveraray. Our room (Ferguson with double bedroom & adjoining twin) was excellent - spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, including Jenifer's homemade yoghurt & the packed lunches she made up for...

Alistair and Jenifer and their team were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, setting us up for the day. The location of Thistle House Guest House was great for us as it...

Stayed at Thistle House for 3 nights in early July. Jenifer, our host, was so warm and inviting, and the room was beautiful and comfortable. It was the best night sleep! Our room overlooked the loch and I was lucky enough to see a seal from my window late one afternoon. It is quite out of the way, and our...

We had a lovely stay (only one night) at Thistle House. The house is located just in front of the gorgeous Loch, vis a vis Inveraray Castle - very nice! Our room (on the top floor) was cosy, spotless, with a seemingly newly refurbished bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and generous! Also, I have to mention that we had a very...

Stayed here for two nights. Great views and comfy room. Breakfast was soooooo good. Location fine if you don't mind driving. Very welcoming hosts. Plenty to see and do around Loch Fyne, would advise eating at Inver Cottage and visiting The George at Inverary.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and can heartily recommend it. The hosts are marvelous, the room (Lamont) was spacious and in tip-top shape, and breakfast options were varied and high-quality (products are locally-sourced whenever possible, including Jenifer's home-made yogurt). The lounge is very inviting with its comfortable seating and wood fire. The view across Loch Fyne...
