I enjoyed my stay at the Brander Lodge, it was in a great quiet location, the food was good and the staff were friendly and very helpful, the only down side was the room it had this massive bed crammed into a single type room, the room and toilet were well kept and clean, but the room felt cramped, you...

Glad you enjoyed your stay and sorry you found the room too small for your liking. It suits some guests and should you be returning again please contact directly and request a downstairs room as they are all that much more spacious, each again with new en-suite however slightly higher tariff. Kind regards David

Although I suspect it is a little time since our room had been refurbished, it was clean, had a new and very comfortable bed and a great shower. We had dinner twice and on both occasions enjoyed the laid back friendly atmosphere. There was a wide choice of dishes and everything we had was well cooked and presented. Great place...

This is our 2nd visit to the Brander Lodge Hotel, and can honestly say is was most enjoyable. Last time we stayed in the Chalet, however on this occasion we stayed in the main hotel. We ordered dinner in the bar due to a wedding reception being held in the main dining room. Food I felt was not as good...

Thank you for your review I am sorry you felt the meals were not up to the standard of your first visit. We have two chefs and having just had a change of one of them I am sure any return visit will see improvements all round. We look forward to your next stay in our garden chalet. Kind regards...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Lovely shower and comfort in the bedrooms but furniture in bedroom looking a little tired but this did not detract from an very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area of Scotland.

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. The remainder of the bedroom furniture is due to be upgraded this winter so and return visit should see that minor issue resolved. Kind regards David

We arrived about 2pm to spacious inter-connecting rooms. This was a new experience for us, and one which I would really recommend. My kids are 4 and 8, and they LOVED having their 'own' room, own tv and bathroom. I was helpfully shown a shortcut to the room from a side door, very handy to reach from the carpark. Rooms...

Pretentious but shambolic establishment - Fawlty Towers comes to Taynuilt - complete with Manuel in the dining room, in grubby jeans and trainers ! Food very ordinary and like everything else overpriced.

Beautiful setting in the Pass of Brander with a relaxed ambience - a pleasant and convenient alternative to Oban. Very comfortable bed, delicious food and wine at dinner, excellent breakfast - best cooked tomatoes of my touring holiday! Although the exterior, and the desk in the room, were looking a bit tired, Brander Lodge earns its 5 star rating because...

Ideal location for a wedding reception. Pity about the rain, but it is Scotland. Very enjoyable one night stay. Plenty parking. The brander Lodge Hotel & Bistro is in a very nice location in the shadow of Ben Cruachan near Loch Awe.

After a long drive we arrived quite late. We were checked in and given menus so we could order despite the lateness. The waiter was lovely and, the food was incredible. Had the wellington and the pasta so yummy! Nice shower, fast wifi, comfy bed and quiet room. Breakfast was delicious and yet another friendly staff member. After an easy...

I have stayed in Brander lodge four times over the past five years and on each occasion I was made to feel most welcome. This occasion was no different. You almost feel at home. The breakfast is fantastic. The meals served in the evening a great value. Their venison burger and spag bol is to be savoured.
