Lovely in every aspect. Our hosts were so welcoming, helpful and informed. Their home afforded expansive views of the sea and town. The wifi was the fastest in our travels. The shower was simply sublime. I had no idea that one could spend three days wondering around this little island. That said, I intend to return to Ivybank some day...

Lovely Georgian house on a hill at the edge of the town centre with good views over the town and bay. Peaceful and quiet location and a huge garden to explore, including a large pond which is fenced (to keep the otters out!). Very welcoming and helpful owners, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfasts, comfortable room with spacious en-suite....

Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful, comfortable Georgian house. Wonderful garden where one can enjoy panoramic views of Rothesay and the bay (views from the rooms also). Perfectly placed for a short stroll to the town centre. Off street parking.

Tina was really helpful, she even took our wet jackets (and my muddy waterproof trousers!) from us to hang them somewhere to dry which was much appreciated after a scenic but wet walk...

Stayed for the Bute Highland Games at Ivybank and had a great 3 night stay. Tom and Tina are very good hosts and Tom cooks a fantastic Scottish breakfast each morning. The room was very comfortable with lovely views over Rothesay Bay. This will definitely be our first choice B&B in Rothesay in the future.

My partner booked this a day before our arrival and dealt with Tom one of the owners, luckily they had one room left at a reasonable price. We arrived to a really warm welcome from Tina and she showed us around the gardens and her beautiful home and chatted away. She then took us to our room which was compact...
