My wife and I stayed at the Bayview from 11 to 13th September 2015, wanting a weekend just to chill. The room had a suite attached and was on the top floor, quite a few stairs to climb but we'll worth the view of the bay. The room was large, airy and spacious, with three large windows affording access to...

This was our first visit to the Bayview but, hopefully, it will not be our last. The hotel is in a good location with a lovely view over Rothesay Bay and our room, though looking out over the rear of the hotel was of a good size, well furnished and extremely comfortable. Further, the welcome and service which we got...

4 stars for the location and fantastic view from the top floor also the staff, who were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is clean and tidy but the furnishings and decoration are quite old school - think early sixties. Breakfast was very good. We were there for three nights, for a wedding and enjoyed our stay on Bute....

We recently had a lovely visit to Bayview and were very lucky as we hadn't booked. Very friendly and helpful landlady who was full of suggestions of interesting places to visit. We had a room overlooking the garden which had a very comfortable king size bed. Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day! Shame she couldn't do...

Beautiful location and an ever-changing view despite the rain over the bay of Rothesay - couldn't have asked for better. We were comfortable here and the food was good, but it was very old-fashioned - especially the bathroom - and the bed was adequate. There was a bit of a stilted atmosphere over breakfast but maybe that's down to the...

Just spent two nights here. Can't praise it enough. Our hostess, Irene was wonderful. Lovely room with a great view. King size comfortable bed with pristine bedding. Great, well cooked and plentiful breakfast. Evening three course meal was delicious. Nothing negative. Will be back and will recommend to everyone.

This is a delightful, family-run hotel which overlooks the sea, so the views from the front are breath-taking. The owner was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and we really liked the breakfast - especially the fact that there was plenty of fresh fruit. I can see why this is well recommended on Trip Advisor. I...
