Food was superb! The sweet potato fries actually makes my mouth water if I think of them. Steak was great to. Only down fall was the pepper sauce was a bit too thick but other than that superb keep up the good work

We stopped overnight here on a Friday night, lovely location, friendly staff, excellent meal at the Vintage inn. Unfortunately our bedroom, room 9, was positioned over a very loud kitchen fan or generator which switched off and on every 10 minutes through the night. It really was impossible to sleep through it.

We decided to travel up to Scotland the day before the family wedding. The Balloch House hotel is perfect. Close to Loch Lomond and the boat trips and the shopping. Antartex is deceptively good value and has a fine cafe hidden away. The hotel offers a warm welcome, fine food and good rooms.

We decided to go here for lunch. Took us an hour and a half so by the time we got there we were all hungry. We all had various things from the menu. From fish burgers to steak burgers. Also from home made pizza to an amazing beetroot and feta salad with added halloumi. Amazing. Our only disappointment was a...

Stayed for only one night was a birthday voucher gift ( so truly wasn't expecting it to be so good). It was a great place right on the river with views of all the boats that sail up and down Loch Lomond. The room was a good size loads of places to put stuff and very clean. The bed was...

Thanks to Craig and his staff for great service. Can recommend the Baked Camembert (which my husband and I shared) followed by Sea Bass with lobster and prawn risotto. Fish and chips were also lovely.

My wife and I shared a 'sharing platter' yesterday. Service, food and quality was excellent. Much improved service from last visit. Unfortunately Santa left something sticking up the lum and fires could not be lit therefore dining area was quite cold. Temperature excluded, we did enjoy our lunch.
