This was our first visit to Monachyle Mhor after having it on a to do list for some time. The hotel is situated down a single track road and has a beautiful outlook with views over Loch Voil. We had booked a superior room and were not disappointed. The room was fantastically styled with lots of space and a much...

Situated close the end of the single track road up Balquhidder glen, this hotel is in a peaceful but isolated setting. A traditional large farmhouse, it is tastefully and comfortably furnished with very friendly staff. The food is excellent, beautifully presented and deserves to have a Michelin star. Relaxed atmosphere, not pretentious or "precious" . A perfect experience.

Such a nice stay at monachyle mhor, room was stylish with lots of windows looking out to the hills. Fantastic giant bath, and a shower with a steam room. We ate in the restaurant, and the overall experience was fantastic. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, romantic night away!

This was our first visit to Monachyle Mhor and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was nice to be able to say hello in person to Tom Lewis. We travelled as 2 couples and had booked 2 courtyard rooms. My brother and sister in law stayed in the Stable (6) and we had the...

Nice secluded hotel well off the beaten track. We got our stay here as a wedding gift and it was fantastic. Room was unique with its decor and the way it was laid out. Had a look at other rooms and everyone is laid out differently. Staff were welcoming and friendly on arrival as were the bar staff but the...

This was our second visit and we loved both. A real bolt hole away from the hassle of day to day life. The food was great with a strong focus on locally sourced and own grown products. The staff were friendly and helpful. We love the view from the restaurant and it has a really romantic feel in the evening...

This was our 2nd time at the Mhor (my wife's third) and were so looking forward to it...but it was sadly a rather disappointing experience all round. After checking into our courtyard room, which was nice, we noticed the room information was tired and out of date - wifi, TV and breakfast info were all incorrect. We then entered the...

Two nights of perfect relaxation in a really special gem of a Hotel hidden away in one of Scotland's most pretty Glens. A special thank you to the staff who made the stay very personal and could not have been more helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and deserves even wider recognition. We enjoyed a feature room that was...

Both myself and my boyfriend stayed over the Easter weekend. What an amazing place, a beautiful hotel with breath taking scenery. All the staff were lovely, and really helpful. The food and drink was wonderful. Can't wait to come back, loved it!

We have wanted to visit for a while and a special occasion seemed a good excuse to book an overnight stay. We arrived and were checked in by a lovely friendly girl making us feel instantly welcome. We had room 5 and while it wasn't the largest room we've ever stayed in we loved how quirky the decor was. All...
