We had a great one night stay at West Highland Lodge. Communication was very good leading up to our stay, we were cycling to Crianlarich and secure storage of our bikes in the large garage/shed was available. Although watch out if you are cycling - there is a mini winding slope leading up to the house, just to finish the... More

Stayed here for four nights recently and must say that despite the indifferent weather our stay was superb. Paul was very welcoming, very helpful on local information. Our room was huge and well appointed, we had the use of a comfortable lounge and sun lounge - if only the sun had shone! Paul was kind enough to provide an evening... More

One of the best B+B's i have ever stayed in. Lovely modern and warm accommodation tastefully decorated. Friendly owners, great breakfast and stunning views. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We stayed 2 nights and wished we'd had more time here. The room was of the highest standard and the breakfast fantastic. On our 2nd night we had our evening meal in and enjoyed lovely home cooked food. Everything about WHL is first class and the only downside is that places you stay afterwards don't quite match the same standards!

We only stayed one night, but could have stayed for weeks. The room is spotlessly clean, with a lovely fresh modern feel, and the shower was huge (no bath). The whole public area is kept to an excellent standard - very clean and very homely. Paul and Jen are very helpful, and sent some valuables I'd left behind the very... More

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights at West Highland Lodge during our touring holiday of Scotland at the beginning of July. Our twin room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. A good supply of tea and coffee was available in the room.along with lovely biscuits. We had a very well cooked breakfast each morning with fresh... More

We stayed here in the middle of the Loch Lomond and Trossacs National Park - our biggest regret we hadn't stayed longer and make day trips. The room was clean, with high beds and up market toileteries. It was so nice the heating was on, as it was a bit chilly outside. Thoughtful touch. Luxury lounges and a conservatory with... More

We were recommended this accommodation by a previous walker and not disappointed. Our room was lovely and tastefully decorated. The owners Paul and Jen could not be more helpful and were very knowledgeable about the area in which we were walking. When we arrived at Crianlarich Paul came to the station and gave us a lift as the B&B is... More

Once we had found our way, we had passed the sign, we found this place fascinating just a few mins from Crainlarich yet so quiet you would think you were somewhere in the thick of the Highlands. So quiet you could see the train going past in the distance but no sound. The only sound was the sound of nature.... More

We stayed here for one night outbound to Outer Hebrides and Inbound on our return journey home. We received a friendly welcome on both occasions and shown to a comfortable room both times. This is a lovely quiet location for weary travellers who can get a very good night's sleep, a hearty evening meal and a breakfast to set you... More

“we had the downstairs 3 bed room which was huge, and right nest to the lounges/breakfast room, Ideal for disabled person as all flat and no stairs. Mind the midges outside.. so bet to apply some anti-mosquito spray before arriving. Could park right outside the room”
