Myself and my wife stayed at the Winnock hotel last night, we attended the murder mystery night. We arrived mid afternoon, unpacked and went down to the bar, it was quit busy but we didn't have any problem getting drinks. The staff were very friendly Our room was nice and clean apart from one of the coffee mugs, and very...

I went on a coach trip with my husband and 52 strangers, mainly to do something different for Christmas. The hotel was warm, comfortable and welcoming. The food was lovely and plentiful and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The entertainment was very good, bagpipers, singers, Scottish dancers, a talk on weaponry (very funny) Santa and his elves......everyone even...

Arrived by coach late afternoon, to be greeted by a member of staff from the hotel. She gave us all instructions as to room number and where to pick up the key, from then on all members of staff were brilliant throughout our stay. Our room was of a reasonable standard and the central heating was hot. The room had...

The room was large and comfortable, king size bed and single bed, plus settee and armchair. Bathroom was quite big too, shower over the bath but worked quite well. The food was...

We had a very disappointing stay, a bad nights sleep, our room was very small, with a very uncomfortable bed, on a noisy corridor, above a function room where breakfast was served, extremely loudly, at about 0630 to a group on a bus tour. Also I got an electric shock from the iron that housekeeping brought to the room, it...

Visited here with family and got excellent service and meal. Warm, friendly and welcoming, at this busy time of the year. I live quite closely, although the family doesn't, staying at a cottage nearby. Lovely open fire in the 'snug' at the bar.
