Myself, my husband and our 6 year old son popped in one early evening for food on our way back to the Trossachs Holiday Park, having been out for the day sightseeing. A very welcoming hotel/pub, perfect for families. When we enquired about food, the barman informed us the chef was on his way but warmly invited us to sit...

Returned again for another stay. Staff as friendly and welcoming as ever. Good food and great local chat at the bar after our meal. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and filing no chance of going away for a day walking with an empty stomach. We stayed in a different room this time and was as impressed as we were...

Close to the Trossachs Holiday Park, the Black Bull offers great food with a warm atmosphere. Dog friendly and there is a curtesy bus that takes you to and from the holiday park to the Black Bull. Great! Highly recommend the beef and Yorkshire pudding. The apple crumble with cream was delicious too. Thanks to the staff for making us...

Popped in around 8pm whilst staying at nearby Trossachs Holiday Park. Four adults plus 9 month old granddaughter. We were immediately made welcome and served with delicious food from a well stocked menu. Young lad who served us couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back. Superb! Ps FYI hotel runs a shuttle bus from the holiday...

No drinking glasses but there were tea/coffee making facilities. I'm really trying to convey the positives but there were some negatives.. My husband and I...

We really enjoyed our night at the Black Bull: It's a well-located traditional Scottish Inn with friendly bar and staff and clean, simple rooms. The breakfast was terrific with all the trimmings needed for a 'full Scottish'. In addition there are no parking problems and small local shop just a minute away. Will return!

We had pre- booked and staff put on an excellent home made spread of soup , sandwiches and sausage rolls with as much tea & coffee we could drink to go with shortbread and chocolate cakes . There were no concerns about boots .

I've stayed at this hotel twice and I absolutely love it! Everything is just superb :) ... the food is excellent; the staff are lovely and it's so quiet that I slept really well. There are the most amazing views and brilliant walks around the area. The Black Bull is also dog-friendly, so I was able to take my dog...
