Called in on a few nights during a recent stay in the area, my sort of pub, friendly staff & good prices. The musician playing Sat 21st Feb was excellent. Friendliest of all was Champs, a customer's dog; loved him!

Room clean, a cost effective option if on a budget. Breakfast is ok and staff friendly. Only downside is the shared bathroom but what do you want for £45-£50. Good for exploring the area. Also proper local downstairs

stayed there in May 2016 had a nice room and the price was appropriate. The room was really clean. The bathroom though was very small and the shower just a dribble. The lady who cooked my breakfast was really friendly and overall I enjoyed my...More
