Myself and 4 friends stayed in one of the huts sat 21 April......the accommodation was value for money, the food we had in bar was very good and entertainment was enjoyable......however the security gate at the access point which is locked at 2300hrs is an accident waiting to happen....., never mind the impression it must give visitors from abroad.

This accommodation was booked for us by a walking tour company. We arrived after a long walk from Rowardenan, a found a very spacious, comfortable room with en-suite facilities. The check-in process was very smooth, and we were able to park the support vehicle (!) right outside the door. We had a few beers before dinner, which was served in...

Stayed here on the West Highland Way recently. The campsite itself is ok and I had no problems with the facilities however I had friends staying in the Drovers who I was unable to join due to the campsite closing the main gate at 11pm. It's pretty heavily enforced hence the feeling of being caged in.

I stayed here on day two of the WHW, after a long, long, very long day walking it was a welcome sight. I was part of a group of 9, all wet and hungry upon arrival. The staff were brilliant. Very helpful and accommodating. We are within the pub on site and it was great food, quickly served and a...

While walking the WHW we stopped in to Beinglas Farm Campsite to top-up on water and find somewhere to sit and cook our Pot Noodles. On first view it was a lovely campsite, very family orientated and lots of space, but the huge benefits come when you walk a bit further in and reach the bar! We were delighted to...

I know the title may seem a little over the top but most sites are geared towards people with camper vans or caravans. This one is aimed, mainly, at the lightweight camper (it is on the West Highland Way). We arrived by car on the way south quite late but were met by a very friendly member of staff who...

After a long days walk it was a relief to get into the bunk house, no problem with the facilities, enough toilets and plenty of hot water in the showers. Restaurant/bar was great, food excellent staff were all very good. Kitchen needs a bit of work but it is a campsite not a five star hotel. All in all a...

Really great night camping. Lots of car parking and space for camper vans, tents, wigwams and cabins. We tented and cooked own food on a stove. The shop had gas and lots of stock, there were indoor tables and chairs to eat at. Hot water and sinks to clean up. Good loos and showers. Bar for drink and food. Only down side if...

Beinglas Farm is wonderful. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have plenty of options from tent camping to wigwams and full rooms. The onsite store has all the necessities including first aid which can really come in handy! Great place.

This place was a little haven after a very traumatic day walking from Balmaha. One of our party was very unwell and the assistance and service we received was second to none. We were brought meals to the room, made cups of tea, offered everything we needed and none of us will ever forget the treatment. Food was delicious, particularly...
