We stayed for two nights, a last minute getaway. I can honestly say it was wonderful. The accommodation consisted of two bedrooms and a sitting room. It was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and Penny was a complete delight, a wonderful hostess and an all round lovely person.

We stayed at the end of August for a wedding near by. The whole stay was wonderful - Penny was welcoming and a real giggle. Everything was as you'd hope for - clean bathroom with a decent shower, a comfy bed, brilliant breakfasts and a sparky host who will go out of her way to help you with whatever you...

We are friends of the owners of Duns Castle locally and because they had an event at their castle, a 50th birthday weekend for a group of Americans and every single room was taken plus all of the cottages, we couldn't stay with them as we normally do - so we went in search of a local B n B...

Although we only stayed at Penelope's B&B for one night it was such a delight. The room was spotless the bed was extremely comfortable ( I have back problems) and the livingroom was luxurious. In the morning we were cooked a fabulous breakfast with the best black pudding I have ever tasted. We had the whole of the first floor...

What a delight it was to stay at this BandB -to have the whole top floor to ourselves was so relaxing. The rooms and stairs are full of the most amazing paintings. We attended a wedding at Wedderburn Castle and I am sure Penny's BandB is the only place to stay in Duns. Penny is a azing.

We stayed two nights in order to attend a wedding at Wedderburn Castle, which is nearby. Penny was extremely kind and helpful, giving us useful advice on transport, and cooking us a delicious breakfast each morning. She was also very understanding when we arrived later than scheduled.

My husband and I stayed at Penny's B and B for three nights, whilst we attended a wedding at Wedderburn Castle. It is in the main square in Dunns and was very clean, amazing breakfast and outstanding service. Nothing was too much trouble. By the time we left, we felt part of the family. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed at 'Lady Penelopes' for 1 night and it felt we were leaving a family friend when checking out in the morning! Our arrival was greeted with fresh scones - which were great, and the level of personal service continued with an offer of a lift to the local wedding we were attending and water in our room when...

Another cycling holiday, touring the Scottish Borders in very cold conditions. However , we a very warm welcome by Penelope as we walked passed our accommodation but she spotted us & invited us in.
