Could you please supply us with some more information as we find this very
hard to believe.

Obviously someone who does not like animals. The Anchor Restaurant is well signed inside and out. The bar is always busy with families, tourist and locals and family pets.

We normally eat on the front at the Port, but popped into The Downshire for a change.
It doesn't appear to be very well advertised although the public bar downstairs was 'bouncing' with locals, however the Anchor Restaurant is located upstairs.
