This has a rather grand and imposing exterior as you approach along the drive, and the interior is similarly grand, although there is a feeling that it needs somewhat of an upgrade. The location is very nice on the banks of the Loch Oich - with pleasant walks along the Loch and around the gardens. our room on first floor...

We called in for lunch on a very wet and miserable day....sat in the lounge, where we enjoyed a lovely lunch, served by extremely friendly and efficient staff, whilst enjoying the view of the loch. We both loved the salmon cakes, I really liked the haddock in a very light batter with a salad, and my husband had the chicken...

Truly stunning property in wonderful location. Decided to have a "Light Lunch" of "Tomato & Mediterranean vegetables" and a Ham sandwich and a cheese and pickle sandwich. The soup was very obviously commercial powdered stuff full of horrible stuff - there was that powder scum round the bowl and that smell of MSG and dried onion. I didn't touch it...

We stayed for a 4 night break and we have nothing but praise for the quality of the accommodation, food and friendliness of the staff and owners. It was so good that we plan a return visit. The location is excellent for walking, fishing and touring the Loch Ness area, Inverness, Fort William, Ben Nevis and the Isle of Skye.

This has been our sixth stay at Glengarry Castle Hotel. Hard to know where to start. Firstly this hotel has the friendliest most helpfull staff myself and partner have ever encountered. Nothing is too much trouble. They offer a great choice of rooms from standard to four poster jobs overlooking the loch. Well worth the extra in my opinion. Waking...

We spent two nights and we wished it had been more! This is a an hotel with character. Obviously being an old building it has its fair share of creaks which adds to a real almost spooky atmosphere. To get to our room you almost needed the Marauder's map from Harry Potter with all the twists and turns. The room...

Stayed one night to celebrate my husbands birthday and I was very dissapointed at the first glance when we arrived. We had a clean but very small room. We went for a walk in the surroundings and it felt better and better. It was really beautiful and calm. We spent some time in the lounge and the library and it...

Set in private grounds, this hotel was superb. It it family run with friendly, professional and helpful staff. Lovely grounds with a great view, a wonderful place to get away, relax and recharge. Hard to get a room as they are very busy but if you can, it is well worth it. The restaurant is small but the food is...

Having decided to just rent a car and drive from Inverness around Loch Ness and where-ever else the wind decided to take us we came across this beautiful property, and how glad we did. This beautiful place has to be seen to be believed. It is nestled amongst large trees in huge landscaped gardens and has a river on one...

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed more. The setting is fantastic, a short walk to the Loch. Our room was a little on the small side with very small windows, bot the bed was comfy and the bathroom was huge. The library and lounge were very big with beautiful large windows. The evening meal...
