I walked in to Inverie with my 2 brothers in January 2015! It was a great but tiring 3 day walk from Glenfinnan viaduct. We arrive on Burns night to find the pub shut for the month! But the local people welcomed the crazy guys in and we had a great Burns night celebration. The Bunkhouse is great! A great...

This bunkhouse has everything you need to enjoy a stay in Knoydart. Sturdy, comfortable bunks, well equipped kitchen, large, comfortable lounge / sitting room, good drying room, excellent WiFi and a warden who could not be more helpful, friendly or professional. Am looking forward to returning.

Stayed for 3 nights. Terrific location. Well-run bunkhouse. Good facilities. Helpful warden. Good mix of visitors, all outdoor folk. Nice lounge. Didn't expect or need a TV and video-player, but would be good in bad weather! Good Wi-Fi. Bunkrooms not too cramped.

Comfortable bunkhouse, warm and welcoming. All you need, great lounge, hot showers, comfortable beds and a very helpful warden. We got a pier pickup which was helpful for all our provisions. Good drying room.

Friendly, cosy bunkhouse with kitchen, dining room, sitting room and excellent drying room (very welcome if weather bad). Next door to "snack van" that does homemade ready meals and great venison burgers. (Well worth it especially as Old Forge pub has gone downhill and is often closed or unwelcoming)

An absolutely fantastic bunkhouse with all the facilities you could ask for. The lounge is especially lovely - very comfy sofas and a TV with lots of DVDs for evenings and bad weather days. Everything was incredibly clean and well looked after, and Fiona was very welcoming. I was worried that being in a room next to the kitchen would...

I stayed as part of a large group who were on a hen party. Everything had been thought of and worked well. There were plenty of extras available via an honesty box system, e.g. towels which was very useful! Fantastic place stay and hope to return again one day!

One of the friendliest bunkhouses I have stayed in. It is a well thought out bunkhouse. Fiona was a star..... "Thank you Fiona" You obviously love your job. We arrived early to the bunkhouse where a busy Fiona took time to show us round the well equipped kitchen where she pointed out the free food shelf, the ovens, microwaves, boxes...

What lovely feedback, thank you! We have recently made the food options on Knoydart more prominent around the Bunkhouse, so this should help with folk being able to enjoy the good local food. Thanks for the note about it.

A clean comfy bed in Dorm 1 next door to the extensively equipped kitchen and just opposite the large friendly lounge. Quality and cleanliness is superb; my one gripe is the suggestion that on one of the nights a dog was to be accommodated in the room. I react badly to most dogs and there was no problem in the...

It's good to know that you enjoyed your stay with us even though you experienced some dog-logistics! I'm glad to hear that Fiona was able to sort things out; she's very good at that, and as we advertise well-behaved dogs are welcome at the Bunkhouse we do our best to make sure everyone is comfortable, whether they arrive with or...
