We stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious (wie were two adults and a small child) and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was great and the hosts very nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Cream Tea at Penygawse tea rooms. £3.95 for a fruit scone, clotted cream and jam, plus your choice of tea. You can't really go wrong there! They also do lunches and a number of other cakes etc. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something sweet!

Had lunch here, good service Freindly staff and good choice of menu. Home cooking is very nice. Had Brie and cranberry Sanwich, it was very good. It's in a good location, good parking across road in main car park. Will be returning again soon.

This was the first time we stayed at Penygawse and it didn't disappoint. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The coffee was the best I'd ever had in Wales. We ate a late lunch there and it was very good. We would definitely go there again.

Disappointed in room at the top of the house overlooking the road. Very noisy with lots of heavy vehicles passing by late evening. The bed for me needed a topper. The hosts were a lovely couple and the breakfast was very good and this went a long way to lessen my disappointment in the room.

Hotel is a guest house & tea rooms as the sign on the front indicates. It is a family run place, with a warm intimate atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small as it befits a very old building, and you must climb steep stairs if your room is in the top floor. This is part of the charm of...
