Detailed Reviews
We have stayed at Carno House a number of times and they never fail to impress! Rooms are immaculately clean, breakfast is delicious and the hosts are welcoming and have a wealth of information regarding the local area. This was our first visit following the recent Covid19 pandemic and we have to say that every precaution was taken in order for us to feel safe. The property provides staggered arrival times , a hand sanitizing station as well as distanced tables in the dining room. We would recommend Carno House to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful coastline of Ceredigion whilst staying in amazing accommodation. We shall most definitely return.

It was lovely to see you both, once again. We are pleased you found everything to your liking, even though we are required to place certain restrictions on the services we can provide during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it is pleasing to read that you felt the measures in place made you 'feel safe'. It's our intention and aim to provide our guests with a comfortable and safe environment while at Carno House B&B. Thank you for your wonderful review and we look forward to your return. Stay safe and take care.

Outstanding! There was a warm and friendly greeting with a welcome cup of tea; there was free parking; everything was spotlessly clean; the room was comfortable; the flat-screen TV was wall mounted, the bathroom was sparkling with good water pressure in the shower. The bedding and towels were great quality, the beds were very comfortable. The room was quiet. The breakfast was delicious and offered great vegetarian options as well as the full welsh. The hosts, Linda and Gary were just THE BEST! We will stay again.

Another wonderful stay with Linda and Gary at Carno House, just in a very different world this time. But as ever & despite the new limitations placed on the hosts by Covid we had a warm welcome and a relaxing stay in a very clean, comfortable room which clearly showed how much they are following all guidelines. Breakfast was again superb, fresh and hot & an excellent start to the day.
Many thanks Gary and Linda for a lovely stay and we very much hope to stay with you once again, someday soon. Stay safe and best wishes.

Me and my mother go to visit my Grandmother near Aberaeron every 6 months or so and have stayed at various BnB's in the area. Carno House offered a fabulous stay. Lynda and Gary are incredibly welcoming, and even go that extra mile! Storm Dennis was in full swing when we stayed and we were dumb enough not to bring any rain coats...oops. Gary offered us an umbrella and a waterproof poncho-what a saviour! Whilst Lynda filled us up with a delicious, home-cooked breakfast. Being a university student, I was also able to happily stay in the room when necessary to study, with no distractions. They really made it a home away from home! We will definitely be staying here for our future visits!

We really enjoyed both yours and your mum's company and chats during breakfast. We do our utmost to ensure our guests have a relaxing comfortable stay and during poor weather, we appreciate and understand that guests wish to remain in their rooms or may even forget to have packed appropriate weather gear/clothing, hence our offer. Thank you for the lovely review and we wish you the best with your university studies. Until next time (call direct!), take care both.

We have stayed at Carno before and you always get a warm welcome. We felt safe at all times as the owners follow Covid 19 guidelines throughout. The room was comfortable and relaxing. Carno has two parking places but there is room on the main road. It is a short walk into town. Thank you/Diolch.

Had a great stay in this lovely B&B. Lynda and Gary are so welcoming. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean with lovely comfy beds. Great choice for breakfast which is freshly cooked upon your arrival in the dining room. This is a real home from home B&B situated in a great location and we highly recommend it, we will definitely be returning.

Our family of 3 stayed at Linda and Gary's lovely BnB for 1 night. The stay whilst short was very pleasant and Linda and Gary are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and gracious hosts. The rooms and baths are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was top notch. They were helpful with places to go for dinner as well as things to do once we left on our way to Cardiff via Brecon Beacons. Highly recommended.

What a lovely family you are too! We are both delighted you enjoyed your stay, albeit brief, at Carno House B&B. We trust the trip through the Brecon Beacons and on to Cardiff to watch the rugby went well. Did you manage to stop and walk Pen-Y-Fan? If not, maybe on your next trip. Thank you for your kind words and for choosing Carno House B&B. We trust the journey home was pleasant and should you ever visit these parts, do call in.

A great b and b - friendly hosts with good local knowledge, a spotless room and excellent breakfast. This is our first trip away with Covid regs in place and it all felt very safe.
The beautiful town is a very short distance from the b and b (the road can be a bit busy at rush hour) and there is plenty to see and do, with lovely walks straight from the house. Be aware you may have to book ahead for local attractions at present. We had a delightful break and intend to go back. Thanks to Gareth and Linda for being so helpful and welcoming.

At the moment, some buses over rhe weekends are free (Traws Cymru) and regular too. It's a lovely trip and many guests who have stayed with us at Carno House have opted to use the bus service. We are less than a 100 yards from the first bus stop in to Aberaeron from Aberystwyth.
The main train station is in Aberystwyth and from the main bus station out side the station you can catch a number of buses to Aberaeron, which is 16 miles away. further details and directions are available on our website.
