spent 3 nights at Tyddyn Llan over New Year - our room was excellent , the food superb and location stunning. It was good to get the Michelin standard food ( qulaity and presentation) with realistic portion sizes, the quality of the produce used was excellent. We shall return often based on our experiences.

We enjoyed a very lovely dinner and stay here for my husband's birthday just before Christmas. Susan was an extremely welcoming and accommodating host and Brian had arranged a birthday surprise, which was a lovely touch. We had the 9-course menu, which was excellent, but it's definitely wise to ask for a couple of breaks - we struggled at times!!...

We have visited Tyddyn Llan on many occasions and it was good to be back and to find that it is as good as ever. From Susan's warm welcome, the crackling log fire in the comfortable sitting room and Bryan's excellent Michelin star cooking it feels like coming home. Most of the excellent staff we knew from previous visits have...

We have just returned from a wonderful meal and nights stay at Tyddyn Llan to celebrate my wife’s birthday and cannot thank them enough for the whole experience. I started with the Bresaola which was wonderfully tender and flavoursome my wife had the trotters which were superb. We followed this with the pork selection and the veal chop which were...

the hotel came recommended for dining. we stayed over as well. The food was superb. first Michelin star dining that I struggled to finish - very generous portions. impressive dining. the rooms a bit old fashioned and became too hot. spectacular country side for walking - summer should be glamorous. excellent value for money - can get busy. book early.

We booked a last minute deal and had requested a particular room as from the photos shown on the website it appeared the most suitable for us. On arrival we were shown to room no 8, which is the last room in the attic on the second floor. The bed was very high and the ceiling very low, could be...

We had booked the Christmas package for a family of four. The booking process was fine, no problem with booking in the kids, who did not eat the set menus, but the place offered to cook them pastas etc. as requested. The package was 3 nights with BB and dinners, with kids paying extra. The food was very good, nice...

This is a fabulous place, don't get me wrong, but a large Remy Martin in the bar is £50. You can get a bottle in any super market for £33. Given there are 15 large measures to a bottle this is an aggressive mark up. If you make a booking and there is an unforeseen reason why you have to...

yet again another great night being looked after by Bryan, Susan and the team. Everything superb as usual, well worth the visit on a Sunday night, can't wait for the next time to be pampered and looked after

So where is Corwen? asked Richard....... Kind of inland, one of those towns on a signpost when u drive into Wales, was my reply. So he was unprepared for the stunning beauty of the Dee valley and the Berwyn hills. Tyddyn Llan sits in spectacular countryside. The house, a former hunting lodge, set in a gorgeous country garden (complete with...
