Second time we have been. First time was with a group meal in a private room. Good food. Lovely staff. Then we went to a dinner dance with singer Nick Haggart (we know Nick so a bit biased... He appears at Blackpool Tower Ballroom and the Twinwood Vintage Festival) and the Peter Stephenson Band. Very good indeed. Good food and...

I enjoyed fine dining there last night with my husband and friends. The food is top class and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed and danced to the music of The Peter Stevenson 5 piece band. The whole evening was very successful and we will be back for the next dinner dance later in the year. Well done...

We got married at the plas hafod 28th may 2016 and were completely blown away by the venue, staff, food and overall hospitality. Colette, Peter and the team were so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was great value for money for the overall day! We were blessed with gorgeous weather so our guests made...

I stayed here for a wedding. The setting is lovely with well maintained gardens and the communal rooms were well decorated in an eclectic style. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and work hard to please. The food is plentiful and enjoyable and similar to what you would expect a good country pub. The breakfast is particularly good with...

Our first visit here in February for my mother's 93rd birthday was beautiful. Staff were so good with mum and kept the cake I had made for her until we had a coffee. She thoroughly enjoyed her afternoon, so much so that we returned for mother s day and had an equally good meal. Anything not quite what we wanted...

What a wonderful venue to celebrate our daughter and son in law's wedding with family and friends. Special mentions to Peter & Colette plus all the lovely staff who made the day/night so very special. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, with staff going above and beyond all our expectations. We really could not fault it. The...

We were not staying in the hotel just visited for afternoon tea. Our friends gave us an afternoon tea gift voucher as a wedding anniversary gift and we were not disappointed. It was a nice day on Tuesday (18th May) a little cool out of the sun but window seats in the conservetory made it all very comfortable. The service...

We booked in for a couple of nights and got a great large room. There were a few faults (such as a very tricky balance to get the right temperature for the shower) but nothing to worry about. We had dinner there on our first night and had an enjoyable 3 course meal at a very good price. The staff...
