Although this hotel was selected for me as part of an Alfa tour of Snowdonia I would certainly go again, on the main street of the small quiet seaside town of Criccieth within easy reach of many North wales attractions

As Boyd H points out, the town is quite small but there are a few local pubs and restaurants (one of which can be found on Tripadvisor, is called 'Poachers Restaurant' and has excellent reviews).
