This Hotel is not too bad a place to stay. The rooms are clean and warm, but are showing a little tiredness. That's not to say they are bad, just need a little updating. The bar food food menu is fantastic and all the selections are delicious. The breakfast buffet has a good selection and the cereals are all ok.

We had an excellent three day stay at The Lion Hotel in Criccieth. The hotel is in a small village overlooking sea and castle. The staff are friendly and the food delicious. The hotel was clean and warm.

The room and facilities were good and catered for my wife being in a wheelchair. Staff were all friendly and helpful and,of course, this went a long way towards our stay proving to be rather enjoyable, even though it was only for one night.

We found the room very clean and tidy we had been given a room that had a shower for the use of disabled guests. The room was over the bar and has ear plugs were supplied for our comfort we did not have to resort to using them.

We stayed for two nights 28th- 29th October, Saturday night was Rocky Horror show themed which was performed by a group of very talented actors/actresses who performed "Allo Allo" earlier in the year at the Lion! Great entertainment at a great hotel!!

I found it to be a nice hotel in the middle of Criccieth within walking distance to the beach and castle which had been there since the early 18th century .I was given room number one which appeared to have been...

Booked a last minute weekend away. The Lion looked like it would fit the bill and booked online. On turning up, the service was quick and very friendly. I was given a key and stayed in the outside annex. The room was small, but functional and tea and coffee with biscuits were provided. They also give you a couple of...
