I've spent 2 nights a week here over the last four months due to work, and the kindness of the owners Alex and Mo has made what could have been a horrible situation enjoyable! The bedroom I have stayed in is the smaller bedroom, which looks out onto the garden. The bedroom is a good sized double with a comfortable...

We've just spent 3 nights at Dolronwy and it's excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for Mo and Alex. We hit a cold, wet spell and the central heating was immediately put on. Our room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and spotless, complete with a modern en suite bathroom with a great walk in shower. The breakfasts were simply the best...

A great base for climbing Cader Idris (car park is 10 minutes' drive away), which is what I did with my 10-year-old for a father-and-son time. Mo and Alec could not have been kinder to us. Lovely room (can actually sleep four!), a shower that actually works without chilling/scalding, and a great conservatory for a great breakfast (cooked portions not...

A charming old Baker's conversion in an exceptionally quiet location and within very easy walking distance to the centre of town. The accommodation was spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast in the conservatory was very pleasant, with an excellent cooked breakfast. Paul and Mo were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent 2 nights here this October and Mo and Alec were both very friendly and accommodating. Many thanks to Mo for her walking knowledge and advice - well worth listening to. The breakfast was a sensible size, unlike some which are just too huge to get through, and the food was fresh and tasty. There are numerous eateries in...

Dolronwy is the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Mo and Alec make sure the rooms are comfortable, warm, well-lighted, equipped with the best showers, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is tailored to guests' needs and delicious! But the real magic is Mo herself! With great discretion she finds out what will please her guests and goes out of her way...

I had cycled from Holyhead and Dolgellau was my first stop on my cycling tour of Wales north to south. I had booked Dolronwy several days before and the process of booking was very straight forward and emails were answered quickly. This was not the case with some of the B&Bs I sent enquiries to. The owners, Mo and Alec,...

Stayed for 3 nights in the family room, which was comfortable and homely. The hosts Mo and Alex were friendly and attentive and have excellent local knowledge and really you couldn't wish for nicer people. They greeted us on arrival, were interested in our plans and once they knew what sort of holiday were we looking for, everything that they...
