Visited with an elderly lady in a wheel chair main entrance had two steps which made it impossible to get in. Undaunted I went inside and asked at the bar did they have an entrance suitable for wheelchair access. Very helpful man said to come to side entrance and he would let us in. Plenty of room in the lounge...

Went to the Punchouse as a pre Christmas get together with my fiancée,parents and sister. I've never been before, but my sister had and had enjoyed it,so we were looking forward to it. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly barman who was polite, helpful and professional. Drinks served no problem..show to our table, which was just off to the right...

Easy parking close by and great breakfast! Only reason didn't get a 5 star was the windows in the room! You could hear a lot of noise outside both nights we stayed! The beds were very comfortable though!

So it's a nice pub, relaxing seating and a good tapas collection on top of the usual burger and pasta fare to be found everywhere. Rev James on tap. Nice ambience, especially compared with the frenetic Witherspoon opposite

We called in on a cold miserable December day for lunch. The pub is lovely but the fire was not lit. It was quite busy and we were told by an unsmiling barman that there was a 45 minute wait for food. We thought this was a little excessive but we sat and had coffee while we waited. When the...

Room itself was ok with good decor - obviously recently decorated. But attention to detail poor - e.g. lightbulbs not working. Breakfast unfortunately bit chaotic. Got down there at 0730 and door still locked as chef hadn't arrived yet. Took a long time for the food to come and service in general was poor e.g. had to remind/ask again for...

We called in for a quick bite of lunch. We shared some nachos & had a beer & wine. The food was good so we thought we'd come back for dinner. We got a drink & sat down & pondered why the pub was so empty on a Thursday night. We soon realised one of the reasons was it was...

Nice pub and surroundings. Ordered a burger and a burrito, no extras, came to just under £20 without drinks. The food was average and over priced, Wetherspoons just over the road serve the same two meals for half the price and just as good if not tastier !! Nice pub though !!!

Arranged to meet family here for a breakfast. It was our first visit but having used it's sister restaurant, The Lime Tree in Chepstow, a few times we looked forward to enjoying a similar experience. And it didn't disappoint. In fact my veggie breakfast was identical to what I usually order in Chepstow. Coupled with good coffee it was a...
