My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night break at The Bulkeley Hotel, the hotel is very majestic and was built in the mid 1800's to accommodate Princess Victoria on a visit to Anglesey prior to her ascension to the throne. The hotel car park was a little tight for space for such a large hotel although prior...

A one night stay in February in a comfy (small) double room cost £98 .The view was of a bleak yard and dustbins. The room was super heated so we had to open the window which unfortunately admitted the full force of storm Doris. The room was however clean and the bed comfortable. The service was friendly and helpful. The bar is expensive but...

The hotel as a 3 far a 3 star goes was ok, staff are friendly and helpful. The main problem we had with our visit was some tools staying the room next to us who decided that were play music loud until 11:30. We made a complaint as it had been a long day and we obviously wanted some sleep....

I stayed here with my husband as a late Christmas present in February. I had booked a luxury room and that's what we got ! The room overlooked the straits and with the snow capped Snowdonia Range in the background it was perfect. The room was large , with a dressing area , and lovely bathroom complete with an enormous...

We stayed here recently with a large group of friends and have stayed here before on a number of occasions with a substantial group of people in our party. The hotel has a certain quirkiness to its character and each of the bedrooms are different. Yes, it could probably do with a little face lift but not if it destroys...

I agree with the last review with regard to the fact that the place does need a face lift and if you like modern plain and ordinary then this place is not for you. However if you like character and charm then this place has it in abundance. The staff in the bar were very friendly and the food was...

Stayed here for a long weekend with two other couple and between us our 4 dogs. I have read many of the other reviews and cannot disagree with any of them. This is a quirky 3 star hotel which was once very grand. It was built especially for a visit by Queen Victoria. If you are laid back, open minded...

It's alike faulty towers. Only it's not funny. The bulldog is old and needs a revamp desperately. So does the staff. The radiator in my room wasn't working and the window was badly insulated so there was a lovely Ivey breeze coming through the window. Breakfast was also shocking. At least literally across the road was The Bull that served...
