This isn't a super 5 star hotel with all gadgets and flashing lights (if you get my meaning), but a more sedate and relaxing hotel as befits the location. When we visited it was being refurbished but that was not intrusive in any way. Breakfast was of a good quality and there are plenty of quiet areas in the building....

I can't praise the staff of The Bulkeley Hotel enough. Nothing has been too much trouble for them including a crazy early breakfast at 03.30am start for our Duathlon event. Amazing service and lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting. Thanks for everything to all the team.

Visiting Beaumaris regularly in the warmer months (and occasionally in the cooler months) of the year we usually at some point end up at the Bulkeley to sit on the benches outside as it is in such a good spot to look out over the sea and generally people watch. Our last visit was during the May school holidays so...

Had afternoon tea and scones in the garden with our two dogs. Fresh water bowls were already placed in the garden terrace area. Friendly efficient service and delicious scones cream and jam. Watched the eager gulls circling on a lovely summer's day.

We stayed in room 222 which looked out onto an inner roof section of the building complete with orange crate. The room itself looked in need of refurbishment and there was a...

We spent a long weekend in early May at the Bulkeley hotel and enjoyed exploring Anglesey. We had the Victoria Suite which over looks the Menai Straits and Snowdonia beyond which is s spectacular view (weather permitting). The room is spacious with a comfortable bed and the bathroom includes a roll top bath and separate shower. The hotel is situated...

Whilst staying the week at a holiday property in Beaumaris, Anglesey, we went for Sunday Lunch in The Bistro at The Bulkeley Hotel. We chose The Bistro rather than the more formal dining room here where two and three-course Sunday Lunches were being served. We only wished to have a main course and a drink each.I had the Scampi Meal...
