We stayed just one night on our way to Holyhead and Dublin, but it was excellent. The welcome was warm and the room very comfortable. And when we asked about getting to a local restaurant, Mike not only gave us a lift there, but came and picked us up later in the evening too! Wonderful service, great breakfast, lovely people.

As a party of four, we arrived too early to go to our rooms as they were still being cleaned, but were invited to look at them and leave our bags. We mentioned the we were intending to take a taxi to The Marram Grass, a very good restaurant about a mile and a half away, that evening. We were...

We came to North Wales to have some days up in the mountains and needed somewhere relatively close and affordable. The owners are very accommodating and have great local knowledge around good places to eat and trips out to fill some time. Great views from our room, hot shower, tea & coffee making facilities. They offer a wide selection of...

We stayed one night in this B&B. The hosts were friendly and provided a well needed tea and coffee when we arrived. The room was in the main house. It was clean and tidy. The bed was reasonable but in no way luxurious. The ensuite was compact and again spotless. WiFi wasn't very strong. The breakfast was good. Free car...

I cannot comment on the rooms in the main building at Taldrwst as we stayed in the Stables building which was not stated when booking the room on Booking.com. Rooms shown on the site show the main house, and rooms with proper bathrooms. Taldrwst was not what we’d expected after the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were greeted by Mike...

Wow, where to start! I get the feeling this couple got away for a couple of days just to find someone to vent their angst at (though to be fair they weren't above venting it about each other) so quickly did they get into their stride as soon as they arrived, something was wrong. Anyway let's try and be sensible...

Stayed here for a weekend last week. Bit off the main road but more than worth the drive. Lovely large farmhouse and a great welcome from hosts Michelle and Michael with an immediate cup of tea. We were given a front room with a great view of Snowdon. It had a four poster bed, en suite, tv with cd on...

This small hotel in an attractive quiet part of SW Anglesey is being renovated by the hosts, Michael and Michelle, bit by bit. The main building is brightly decorated and furnished in light colours. Much of the furniture had the flame retardant labels hanging in view. There is a bar/TV/guest lounge available approx 6 - 10pm when Michael or Michelle...

I would like to thank Michael for the service that was provided for us for our meal. The food was lovely and he was friendly and made us most welcome with our 8 year old grandson Dylan who was running around the garden playing football. I would recommend this place to anyone especially walkers who he is happy to pick...
