We were attracted to the Gazelle by the reviews of good food, and were not disappointed. We had a warm sea-view room (it was blowing gale outside) with apparently newly refurbished bathroom with good electric shower. Comfortable bed and everything we needed for a good night’s sleep (except perhaps thicker curtains). Dinner was excellent, with attentive service, quality food cooked...

We have passed the Gazelle many times but just over a week back decided to pull in and check out if lunch was available circa 1345 ish. The timings important as we are talking a typical mixed weather February weekday. You can park in their car park at the top as we did and then walk down through their garden,...

Stayed for a weekend break in the annexe which we found to be a small room with spectacular views across the Menai Straights to Bangor and the Snowden massif. which are simply wonderful. The hotel staff were very good, welcoming, polite and always ready to help whenever possible. The food was enjoyable, chosen from a varied menu and we cancelled...

Charming Hotel, excellent food, accommodation and service. We dinned in the restaurant off an extensive menu, and retired to the comfortable well stocked bar! The room was lovely and clean with views over the Menai straights towrds the mountains. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent quality main courses, but a very lack lustre set of desserts for the 4 of us. Above average prices. Service attentive, but lacking in professionalism. Good views in good weather. A place for a Summer visit.

We stayed two nights for a cozy winter getaway and it was perfect Cold outside but lovely and warm both in the rooms and hotel....snuggly so! Lovely friendly little bar area with various nooks and cranny's off it if you want to be alone. It has a smart little intimate restaurant. We had planned to eat out on the second...

Had a two night stay in October booked online through hotel.com which advised was dog friendly and no mention of having to prior arrange this, luckily I decided to call ahead and I'm glad I did as the hotel only provides a couple of rooms that allow dogs So after a 4 hour drive managed to find the hotel just...

We stayed at the Gazelle on the 3rd November. Very warm welcome when we arrived and breathtaking view from Room 3. The room was spotless, with large shower room. We ate there in the evening and the Chef was drawing up his Winter Menu. I had the Hake with flavoured rice and my husband the sirloin steak with brandy sauce....
