We stayed in October 2016. This hotel is located at the crest of a slight ridge overlooking Moelfre. The views to the NE are out to sea. At night the town’s twinkling street lights are visible. To the south the mountain ranges of Snowdonia are presented as a misty grey vista. The distance from the main road is such that...

There is not one thing to criticise about this guest house. They advertise themselves as 'pet friendly' and unlike most places that are merely grudgingly 'pet tolerant' they truly live up to that promise. We stayed for one night on 20th Nov and were warmly greeted by a very helpful and friendly young lady who clearly adores dogs. She showed...

We spent one night in Ty Dderw and we will certainly go back. We couldn't have had a nicer welcome - everyone was wonderful. A great place to eat, to drink, to stay. The food was excellent and the breakfast rivaled that of my absolute favourite at The View in Llandudno. The only thing I would change about this place...

A review here on behalf of my wife, who booked in here as her friend was already staying; the rooms are very well appointed and smartly decorated in navy and white. There are lots of little goodies to enhance the stay like toiletries, biscuits and bottled water. The shower was excellent (the friend's room also had a bath), and there...

The welcome was friendly and the staff we saw over the course of our stay were helpful and pleasant. We had dinner one night and it was excellent, although the portions were much larger than we are used to (something we found to be true all over Anglesey). Breakfast was plentiful and hot so no complaints there at all. Our...

Thank you for your review. The lock on your door was changed the day before you checked out although we have not yet managed to find a lampshade to match the other one in the room. I anticipate you encountered problems with the sockets because the mains plug had been unplugged at the side of the bed. This controls all...

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night. The hotel is in a lovely location being surrounded by fields and with sea views too. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was obviously expertly cooked and presented but being a non-meat eater myself there was very little on offer for the evening meal....

My wife and I have stayed three times and have been well looked after on each occasion. On our last visit recently we had breakfast and evening meals in the bar with our dog and were made to feel quite at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is well presented and tasty. We will return soon I...

My wife and I went for a weekend away to Anglesey with our dog. After reviewing the comments/photos of Ty Dderw Country Inn we decided this would be perfect for our accommodation. Unfortunately the rooms are very basic, tired and in need of modernisation. The staff however were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

I am sorry you did not like your room, I must say it was only freshly painted at the end of last year. Room 11 which I think was your room, does seem adequate for most people for a one night stay, such as yours. It is open to guests to telephone us prior to booking to enquire about any...
