Our group stopped at the Bull Hotel for Sunday carvery on the way to the ferry. The staff were so polite and the choice of food and the service were excellent. Even though renovations are ongoing the atmosphere was great

Parts of The Bull need re-decorating and refurbishing and our shower-room smelled a bit musty but the bed was huge and comfortable (we don't mind two beds being pushed together), the towels and toiletries were replaced on a daily basis and the coffee and tea were also replenished each day. The house wine is about £13.50 a bottle and palatable....

Stopped at the bull hotel after reading the reviews.. well worth a visit staff so polite and helpful. My wife's birthday couldn't do enough for me, helped arrange flowers and were always asking how our stay was going. As a Base for exploring the area non better positioned. Alas as for the hotel a bit dated and lacking in decor...

It took me a while to figure out where the Bull Hotel was due to it being my first time in Wales, but after I got my bearing I arrived late in the evening around 1030. The staff was wonderful and had everything ready to go for when I got there. Breakfast was fantastic, I can't stress it enough so...

We tried here for a carvery one Sunday. Firstly was quiet when we arrived and we soon found out why. Beef was that overcooked you wouldn't want to drop it on your foot. Turkey was falling to pieces couldn't even carve a slice neatly. Veg was cold and mushy. Roast potatoes where hollow and black. Gravy was the only tasty...

Visited with a friend attending a 21st birthday Made to feel really welcome straight away. Rooms were large and comfortable, if a little dated. That can be forgiven though as had best nights sleep in years! Breakfast and Sunday Carvery both highly recommended tho.

We booked a table here for a big family dinner. From taking our order, it took over an hour to get our food. Majority of it was overdone. The waitress brought too many drinks but we were still charged for them. There was one woman who walked around as if she owned the place..perhaps she was the owner?..she was in...
