Dave and Marilyn were warm and welcoming hosts. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated with beautiful views of the rolling Welsh countryside. We enjoyed watching the woodpecker among other birds visiting the delightful garden, as we tucked into a delicious full 'Welsh breakfast'. Lovely fresh local ingredients including homemade bread, jam, honey & marmalade! (Sadly I forgot to purchase...

Thanks for this lovely review, Hayley. It was a pleasure having you both stay with us, only wish you could have stayed longer. You should plan to come back to this end of Wales and explore the area a bit more. Who knows, there may be a jar or two of marmalade available!

Hosts were lovely, place was super clean and comfy. Cannot fault our stay and would definitely love to go back! We were advised to visit conwy, turned out to be a lovely town with amazing scenery. We had the double room with the shower.

Thank you for this really lovely review! "The best stay we ever had"! What an endorsement! And thanks for making the point about finding the house. We are tucked away down a small lane but that's why we're so quiet. For other guests - go to our website and there are easy to follow directions that you can print out...

The owners were extremely obliging. Never too busy to chat. Keen to keep the area Welsh - very dedicated to that & speaking Welsh. Knowledgeable about the area & its history. The bread was made fresh every day. They got in Black Pudding for me especially. The bed was just gorgeous. So large & comfy (what a relief from some...

Plas Efenechtyd Cottage looks gorgeous at the moment even though the sheep have gone from the northern field! But the cows are still here. Hope to see you here again in the near future.
