Once again we've had a fab family holiday, I love seeing Sam the parrot in the reception area, this is a beautiful quiet holiday with lots of places to walk to, there is a little on site park with some animals that love to be petted, the golf course restaurant serves lovely food at very good prices, friendly and helpful...

Me and my partner stayed for two nights in Hollie Lodge. He had booked it for me for a birthday present and I wasn't disappointed. We arrived and picked up our key, to find our lodge was super clean, amazing view of a lake full of geese and ducks, goats and pigs, and full self catering facilities. He had booked...

We booked 4 lodges for a family celebration. It really is a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the golf course. Plenty of wildlife around would thoroughly recommend it for a get away from it all holiday.

We visit Penllwyn Lodges every year, sometimes twice a year and we absolutely love it. I've been coming here for 3 years but some of my friends have been visiting for many many years. A group of us visit the lodges every year to have a get together and let our hair down. We book anything from 2 to 6...

We spent four nights in The Captain's Cabin which is one of the Pennllwyn Lodges in Garthmyl, Powys, central Wales. Our cabin offers a fantastic view of the golf course below and countryside beyond. A short walk on the grounds also takes you to a pond and ducks and even a pig! PRIVACY: This lodge is about 200 metres from...

Lovely place had a 4 night break in May. Accommodation was ok but very dark inside due to the dark wood and eco bulbs. Lodges are very well spaced out and thoughtfully placed so as not to overlook anyone. Decor etc is a little tired but overall very nice. We stayed at the loft which was cosy but had an...

I have stayed at these lodges several times, they are in a fantastic setting, well equipped and very warm. We were in the Alpine Lodge this time which has great views over the golf course. If you fancy a pub meal the Black Boy in Newtown is worth a visit. I will certainly stay here again.

This is a great spot for a quiet break. The lodges are spaced out well and have great views. We stayed in The Beeches lodge which was very clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We recomend a walk along the canal and a visit to the Nags head for lunch and a drink on the way.

We have just spent Easter weekend with our two sons and their wife and partner and our two Granddaughters aged 5 and 2 at Penllwyn Lodges. We had a lovely weekend! Set in wonderful countryside with lots of birds to spot, nice little play area for the girls and animals to look at. The Lodges are set out with lots...

My new girlfriend found this place when we were looking for a quiet and secluded place (with a hot tub) to have a weekend away - we could not have asked for better. An absolute gem of a place with everything we needed for our weekend getaway. We stayed in Hollie's cottage (2 person cabin) which is brilliant. Only minor...
