We enjoyed our stay at this pub. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room in the new extension was small and the bathroom smaller but nicely furnished and with good towels and toiletries. Supper was fine and breakfast OK. For £75 we felt it was on the high side but we would go there again and recommend it to...

The rooms are based in a converted building at the back of the George and Dragon pub. We stayed on a Saturday evening and it was very noisy until closing time at about 11.00 pm. The outside/smoking area is not far from the accommodation, is large with a lot of seating so naturally people gather. You have to walk through...

This was one of our favourite places on our recent walk along Offa's Dyke. It is run by a really lovely family with excellent pub food and a varied menu. The rooms are not particularly big and the en suites quite tight but the showers worked well and everything was clean and well kept.the rooms are very quiet as well...

Stayed one night during two days walk on Offa's Dyke path. Very friendly place, busy on Saturday night with lively crowd but all very welcoming. We ate the splendid mixed grill and there was a good range of ales and lagers. The food was excellent, huge serving and all really tasty. We stayed in the "Ostlers" room. Bright, twin room,...

After seven days walking the northern section of Offa's Dyke Path southbound, my 'Kites Nest' room in the converted stables behind the pub was a comfortable and quiet overnight billet before the train home. Admittedly the room was a double for my sole occupancy, and the bathroom barely the width of a corridor across the end, but it had everything...

Stayed for first night of Glyndwr's Way. The room had only been set up for one person (1 towel/mug etc) but was quickly changed when we mentioned it; also provided with a hairdryer when we asked for one. The room was very small. Room for a double bed but only enough room around it for one person to walk. Shower...

Guests house attached to a pub of the same name. Rooms were large with en-suite, stone walls and wood beams and high ceilings; very comfortable. Pub had good food and breakfast served in the pub dinning room was very good. Wifi only in pub. Knighton is a very pleasant town and this was a good base.

Stayed here after walking the southern half of Offa's Dyke path. All updated room. Comfortable pub and the breakfast was nicely cooked. Quiet on a small side street. It is in city center and not far from the Offa's Dyke Center.
