We spent a night at the Roseland while walking the Offa's Dyke Path. Jenny and Peter were very helpful, offering logistical advice when we made our reservations and picking us up at the end of our walking day to ferry us the short distance from the path to the B&B. The house is lovely, and we enjoyed our room which...

A really pleasant B&B, perfect for a one night stay during our cycling tour around the centre of Wales. The owners were both welcoming, informative about the local area and made a great breakfast to start our day. The garden is very special, I enjoyed spending reading my book there. Good storage for bikes.

We were in Presteigne for a funeral. Jenny and Peter are wonderful hosts, and the house is delightful. We were in the second bedroom, not ensuite, but filled with books. Comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Entertaining conversation with J & P. Presteigne is a lovely little town well worth visiting

This was the second time I have stayed with Peter and Jenny at Roseland and I look forward to the next visit. As hosts nothing is too much trouble. The house is a family home and one is made to feel at ease from the first welcome. The rooms are most comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. If you are...

We stayed two nights a few weeks ago while one of us had some business and the other was taking the opportunity to explore the area. From the door being opened for us until we left, Peter and Jenny could not have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room we had was very comfortable and ours...

Peter and Jenny were the warmest of hosts without being in the least obtrusive - Jenny even drove me to Hay-on-Wye on the morning I left. They seem to really enjoy having guests (for that is what I was made to feel like). The house is Georgian and lovely, as is the garden. It has a wonderfully lived-in feel; it is...
