My wife and I stayed in the room in the middle front of the farm house, with the king size bed. The room was excellent - very clean - as was the en suite. The views from the house are spectacular and because the weather was good we were able to sleep with the window open. The service by David...

We stayed at Tynllwyn farm this weekend for a friend's wedding nearby and just had to write a review to say how wonderful it was. Such a beautiful house and grounds with the most amazing views. David and Jane are great hosts. we have stayed in the main house on bed and breakfast for the past four years and hopefully will be back again next year. the farm house is found at the top of the hill and the views from the bedrooms are breath taking. as for breakfast it is cooked to order and either...

A friend and I recently spent three nights self-catering in one of the holiday cottages. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished and with stunning views. An older style house but beautifully furnished throughout. Our room was lovely with a fabulous view. Food was excellent. David made us very welcome. Hope to visit again as perfect base for travelling around.

We were accomadated at very short notice with a fantastic cottage of our own which the kids and us absolutely loved. Very clean, homely and generous. My room was beautiful.Traditional and very welcoming with a fabulous view from the window. The tea/coffee making facilities were generous with a proper China teapot.The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.Breakfast was lovely.I would highly recommend this hotel

Thanks so much to David & Jane for looking after us and our friends last weekend, they could not have done more. Lovely tasty food, good company and a murder mystery dinner to boot, couldn't ask for more and will certainly stay again.

Tynllwyn is a large Victorian farmhouse dated 1841. Guests are welcome on the farm all year round. The farm is approached up a long private drive a mile out of Welshpool with beautiful views of the Severn Valley and Long Mountain. Welshpool is a country market town in Mid Wales and we are ideally situated for lovely walks along Glyndwrs Way and Offas Dyke. We have many places of interest to visit, e.g. Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (one of the great little steam trains of Wales), Canal Boat trips and beautiful Powis castle. Market day is held every Monday. There is also fishing, golf, pony trekking, quad bike trekking and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool, fitness suite and bowls hall.
