Stayed here for a wedding. Venue it's self is nice and there is a great decking area in the courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the sun with drinks ect.. staff all seem friendly and bar is well stocked. Decor is very aged as discussed in other posts and if your attending an event the amount of golfers milling...

I have passed this hotel hundreds of times but only this afternoon called on with my Wife. The decor is first class and the food is even better. They have a 241 offers and is very tasty. Should you be visiting The Royal Mint Vositors Centre this is the place for you as it does not cost "a mint" This...

Went here for afternoon tea and it was absolutely lovely! It varied a little from the usual as before the sandwiches, cream tea etc. we had pea & mint soup served in a china cup with a savoury sausage roll.....a really tasty twist! When finishing up with a glass of Prosecco to say that we were full was an understatement!!

Having been let down badly by an hotel in Porthcawl on the night we arrived (which had been booked a month in advance) we hunted for an hotel with disabled facilities . We had tried everywhere when my husband spotted the sign for the hotel. Paradise!!! Superb rooms, good and well presented food and the staff?- welcoming, pleasant & nothing...

My son wanted to try footgolf for his 10th birthday. The golf itself was great fun, sadly the same could not be said about the catering and staff. When I booked it it was confirmed that the children's meals were £3.95 buy one get one free. They upped the price on arrival to £4.50 and the BOGOF offer was not...

Mid week stay. Hotel is a couple of miles off the motorway / Pencoed exit. Don't rely solely on sat navs because, close to the hotel, I ended up taking a single track road which was partially flooded and very muddy. I was impressed with the high quality of the room (Room 3), the pleasant and attentive staff, and the...

I stopped here a few years ago. Revisited yesterday and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly, the food and service was good and reasonably priced. The room was clean, large and had a comfortable double bed or two. There was also free wifi. The only issue for some people would be the poor mobile phone signal.
