The food at Hotel Cielo Rojo is delicious, fresh and thoughtfully presented. The decor is warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and they provided excellent service. I will definitely return on my next trip to San Pancho (Francisco).

We just returned home after 5 nights at Hotel Cielo Rojo. This was our second visit, and we liked it just as much as we did on our first trip in 2010. Cielo Rojo has lovely rooms, great ambiance, and delicious food in their restaurant, Bistro Organico. All of the staff are helpful, friendly, and willing to answer any questions...

The staff here are friendly and helpful in giving out recommendations on other places to eat and things to do. The included breakfast was perfect to start each day. We had dinner here one night and it didn't disappoint. They offer beach cruisers to bike around town and down to the beach. It is a little noisy early and late...

Be sure to try Calixto's banana pancakes along with a cup of health. They are a great combo for starting each day. San Pancho is a nice quiet community and much different than her sister community, Salyuita. We enjoyed waking up to roosters. The beaches are almost deserted. The water is warm and good for surfing. Birding is a growing...

I read the reviews and gave it a try. Before coming down, I contacted the hotel w/ a question about transport from PV. Marcelo, the manager, responded promptly w/ an informative email. I got there and the staff was friendly and helpful, the place tranquil, and my room attractive and comfortable. These guys hooked it up w/ info, calling cabs,...

We had a conference in Punta Mita and decided to go to check out "San Pancho" for their flower child reputation and yesteryear ambiance. We were not disappointed. When we arrived (80 dollar cab ride from pv airport) we found a tiny town with cobblestone streets, chickens running around town and lots of smiling faces. Tropical palms everywhere. Hotel Cielo...

This small charming hotel located right besides the main street of San Pancho is a great surprise. Small but clean and well appointed rooms make your stay a very pleasant one. Great restaurant to have a nice and creative breakfast and a must to try for dinner. Steps away from San Panchos beach. Also a great value

A fantastic little hamlet in the heart of San Pancho (San Francisco to some of the locals). The hotel is a great place to get lost with friends or a romantic get-away. The lodging has funky artistic decor, they serve amazing breakfasts that cater towards a more organic, mexican, southern california sensibility... The town has plenty of fish taco/food stands,...
